HELLO HELLO teacher friends,
Did you know that I began this journey while I was an elementary music teacher K-6? I spent three years in the classroom using music & literacy as tools for social emotional learning.
If you love using the Emily Arrow YouTube Channel in your classroom or library, I’m working hard to develop more resources for you. You can join my mailing list to stay in the loop about new videos and resources.
The input of educators like yourself is invaluable to my work so I’d love hear from you. Please connect below! For booking inquiries, please see my Contact Page. Thank you for singing and reading along! - Emily
The Bow & Arrow
1) Create an “Emily Arrow Shelf”
in your classroom or library! Download the .pdf of this graphic to use as a poster. The .pdf catalogues the favorite titles on my YouTube Channel and albums, “Storytime Singalong, Vol. 1 & 2.”
Already have a shelf in your library? Please post and tag @helloemilyarrow on instagram to share!
2) Schedule A Skype in Your Classroom
The calendar for fall 2019 will go live on Thursday, May 30!
How does booking a Skype work? Using the online booking tool, you can schedule a live Skype with me in your classroom or library. At the time of booking, you can customize the content of the Skype to hear all of your students’ favorites!
“ Our Skype with Emily Arrow was the highlight of our kindergarten year! These kiddos love singing along with her and making the books come alive. I would highly recommend a Skype with Emily!! ”
- Melanie B. Librarian, Georgetown, KY
3) FREE SHEET MUSIC .pdf’s
An exciting way to cultivate a community of literacy advocacy is to sing together about your favorite picture books! Ideas include performing for other classes, performing at a school assembly, creating original music videos, or re-writing songs with your own lyrics to perform for administrators. The sky’s the limit! I always love to hear about what you’re up to via instagram too @helloemilyarrow.
Need sheet music and lyrics to songs not included on “Storytime Singalong, Vol. 1?” My summer interns are working hard to add songs to the repertoire. You can click the button above to request a song and donate to have it sent to you within 2 weeks.
Need permission? You have it! Please use my songs for educational purposes. That’s why I created them :)
