It all started when...

I was an elementary K-6 music teacher. I decided to start use books during my music classes to help with transitions and to give meaning and context to the lyrics of the songs we sang. Because our school was going to celebrate Dot Day, I wrote my very first song about a book: THE DOT by Peter H. Reynolds. Peter's support was a springboard for my kidlit tunes and I began writing songs about all of my favorite picture books.

Fast forward three years and now I'm hustling non-stop to create as much content as I can because let's be real: the books out there are SO GOOD! I love meeting parents, educators, and kids who love books as much as I do. So I keep singing, recording, and reading whenever and wherever I can.

Thank you for welcoming my music with open arms into your homes, libraries, classrooms, and bookstores.
