Bubble Gum Warm Up

Pretend to chew a piece of gum
Chew, chew, chew.
Now chew it on the right side only
Chew, chew, chew.
Now switch it over-left side only
Chew, chew, chew,
We're warming up our mouth for singing
(and for bubbles too!)

Pretend to blow a big old bubble,
Hoooo, hoooo, hoooooo.
Bigger, bigger, double, double,
Hoooo, hoooo, hoooooo.
Show me with your hands and arms,
Hoooo, hoooo, hoooooo.
A bubble bigger than your face,
Hello? I can't see you!!

And now pretend your bubble pops,
one   big      POP!
It's stick and it's gooey
and I hope we brought a mop.

Mopping up the bubble gum,
Mop, mop, mop.
Next time when we warm up,
we should use a lollipop.

Honeycomb, Honeycomb

A tune for doing chores

Honeycomb, honeycomb,
doin' up the dishes.
Honeycomb, honeycomb,
makin' bubble wishes.

Swish, swash, sing along,
spoon has got a tune.
Dry, dry, towel dry,
plates look like the moon.

Honeycomb, honeycomb,
singing makes it fun.
Honeycomb, honeycomb,
now we're finally done!

The Sore Throat Story

One time I had a sore sore throat
A sore sore throat it was.
The doctor said to rest my voice,
but I could not because...

[tune of London Bridges, LOUDLY/large font]
Singing is my favorite thing,
        favorite thing,
        favorite thing.
Singing is my favorite thing,
              I can't stop singing.

And then my mom said, "rest your voice,"
my dad said, "stop that now!"
I knew that I should try to quit,
but I didn't know how.

[tune of London Bridges, a little softer/smaller font]
Singing is my favorite thing,
        favorite thing,
        favorite thing.
Singing is my favorite thing,
              I can't stop singing.

I used to sing around the house,
and even for my dog,
but now I think that I should hide,
so no one hears at all.

[tune of London Bridges, quieter/small font]
Singing is my favorite thing,
        favorite thing,
        favorite thing.
Singing is my favorite thing,
              I can't stop singing.

But then I learned my lesson,
yes my sore sore throat was mad.
And when I tried to sing again,
it sounded really sad...

[tune of London Bridges, scratchy whisper/small barely visible font]
Singing is my favorite thing,
        favorite thing,
        favorite thing.
Singing is my favorite thing,
              I can't stop singing.

I Hope You Find Your Voice

I hope you find your voice,
I hope you know it's there.
I hope you sing the way you want,
without worry or care.

If someone says, "be louder!"
or someone says, "sing soft!"
I hope you find your voice,
whether they like it our not.

I hope you find it soothing
to sing under your breath,
to echo in the shower
or hum inside your head.

I hope your voice is strong
when you don't know what to do,
I hope your voice will sahre
the magic song inside of you.

Heart and Soul

a silly take on a well-loved song; try singing to the tune!

Heart and Soul,
a song we all can play,
Heart and Soul,
I hear it every day,
Oh my! I'm sick and tired of
heart and soul, I'll change it all,
but make it sound the same...

Ice Cream Bowl,
a song we all can play,
Ice Cream Bowl,
I hear it every day,
Oh my! I'm sick and tired of
heart and soul, I'll change it all,
but make it sound the same...

Rabbit Hole,
a song we all can play,
Rabbit Hole,
I hear it every day,
Oh my! I'm sick and tired of
heart and soul, I'll change it all,
but make it sound the same...

Rock and Roll,
    Bowling Ball,
       Casserole,
          Button Hole,
             Cinnamon Roll,
