Emily Arrow creates music and stories for young people with her ukulele named Bow! Formerly an elementary music teacher, Emily pioneered bringing today’s best picture books to life by collaborating with best-selling authors. Recipient of the Lennon Award, NAPPA, Parents’ Choice Gold Award for her music, Emily's YouTube Channel is a family sensation with over 10,000 subscribers.

Music & Books

Her two albums, Storytime Singalong, Volume 1 & 2, are distributed nationally and are regularly #1 on SiriusXM Kids Place Live, Spare The Rock. Storytime Singalong, Vol. 2 coming Oct 2019!

Emily’s debut picture book, Studio: A Place for Art to Start illustrated by The Little Friends of Printmaking (Tundra, Penguin Random House) is set for publication March 3, 2020.

Her 4 book collection of educational story-songs titled My Feelings, My Choices will be published by Cantata Learning, available August 1, 2019.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Emily is also certified in Orff-Shulwerk music education Levels 1 & 2. She began her career working with children as the music teacher at a K-6th performing arts elementary school in Los Angeles. Emily has offered graduate workshops at Concordia University, University of Redlands, and offers her very own annual Emily Arrow Teacher Summit for PK-5th grade educators. 

Audio/Media Projects

Emily’s recent clients include Sesame Street, Capstone Publishing, and Cantata Learning. An official Kala Ukulele Artist, Emily creates ukulele lessons for their online platform. And in 2018, Emily opened a brick & mortar bookshop in East Nashville called Singalong which will become a multi-city popup shop fall 2019.
