Hello, hello, Emily Arrow!

"Emily Arrow loves books, music, and making things. Emily has put her loves together to become a groundbreaking "kidlit" artist and recent winner of the John Lennon Songwriting award. She blends bright bouncy ukulele and guitar-driven beats, wistfully wonderful vocals, and rich production with stories drawn from children's literature.

This year, Emily released "Storytime Singalong, Volume 1" an inspired collection of songs that soar from the pages of books like The Dot, Are We There Yeti, Louise Loves Art, and The Curious Garden. Emily collaborates with the authors to create engaging music videos for her YouTube channel and she has even more planned for this fall and 2017!" - review by parenting & lifestyle blog Full Van Fun

A graduate of Berklee College of Music and certified in the Orff-Shulwerk method of music education, Emily began her career working with children as the music teacher at a K-6th performing arts elementary school in Los Angeles. During her three years in the classroom, Emily began writing songs inspired by her favorite picture books, beginning with The Dot Song-inspired by the book by Peter H. Reynolds. These songs led the creation of her original genre of music "kidlit tunes" where she's been met with quick success.

Emily is the recent recipient of the John Lennon Songwriting Award, 2016 National Parenting Products Award (NAPPA) and Parents' Choice Gold Award.
