I’ll read to you, you’ll sing to me.
— Emily Arrow

Emily Arrow creates music and books for young people. With her ukulele named Bow in hand, Emily’s mindful approach fosters a love for the arts at home and in the classroom!

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Emily is an award-winning children’s songwriter. Her albums Storytime Singalong, Vol. 1 & 2 include #1 songs on SiriusXM’s Kids' Place Live and have received The Lennon Award, National Parenting Products Award, a Parents’ Choice Gold Award and the Nashville Scene’s Best Local Kids’ Entertainer.

Emily’s debut picture book, Studio: A Place for Art to Start is releasing March 3, 2020 with Tundra Books! She is also the writer of the library series My Feelings, My Choices (Capstone Publishing), and forthcoming Kid’s Guide to Ukulele: 25 Songs (Fox Chapel Publishing).

Emily began writing for children during her time as a K-6 music educator in Los Angeles. Emily is certified in Orff Shulwerk Levels I & II, a teaching approach that uses instruments and singing to teach music. Her YouTube channel has over 11K subscribers and kick-started her tour of book festivals, schools, and libraries across the country. Strumming her ukulele nationwide, Emily is an official Kala artist.

The Bow & Arrow Book Club Subscription was a fan favorite, leading Emily to open Singalong, a 1 year pop-up shop in Nashville, TN. Stay tuned for more pop-ups in your city + the book club re-launch!
